Contrinex Series 1000

Contrinex Photoelectric Sensor 1000The Contrinex Series 1000 photoelectric sensor features a variety of sizes and functions in widely used standardised cylindrical housing.

The 1000 series is available in 4mm, M5, 6.5mm, M8, M12 and M18. The 4mm and M5 are the smallest self contained photoelectric sensors available on the market. Intended to replace larger sensor models, the Contrinex Series 1000 saves on space, provides greater operating distances and saves on optical fibres if the application is too complicated.

The Contrinex Series 1000 also includes laser devices in sizes M12 and M18 which allow for the detection of very small objects across a large distance.


Contrinex Series 0507

Contrinex Photoelectric Sensor 0507The Contrinex Series 0507 miniature rectangular sensor with narrowly focused light beam can detect:

  • Objects through holes and gaps
  • Closely lined-up objects
  • Laterally approaching objects whose distance from the sensor can't be kept constant.

The Contrinex Series 0507 sensors is typically characterised by their small size of 5 x 7mm with a housing length of 40mm. Despite their small size, these devices are fully self-contained. The Contrinex 0507 is less costly and easier to install then fibre optic alternatives. Due to the sensing range, the Contrinex 0507 can also replace larger switches where mounting space is limited.


Contrinex Colour Sensor

Contrinex Photoelectric Sensor ColourThe Contrinex Colour sensor range is ideally suited for colour control as well as use in colour sorting processes. The sensor features 3 teachable colour channels with independent 200 mA outputs, which allow for three colour tones to be programmed. The teach process offers a choice of 5 different tolerance levels. Small tolerances allow for minimal colour differences to be recognised whereas larger tolerances permit a certain colour variation.

Due to the optics of the Contrinex Colour sensor, detection within operating ranges of 30 mm to 40 mm is virtually independent of target distances.


Contrinex Fibre Optic Flat Array

Contrinex Photoelectric Sensor Flat Optic ArrayThe Contrinex Fibre Optic Flat Array sensor can solve the problem of capturing, counting and controlling small components produced by modern, high performance manufacturing machinery. High exit speeds of parts from production machinery can make product position vary greatly and component count extremely difficult.

The Contrinex LFP-1011-020 flat fibre optic array sensor is specifically designed with a beam spread of 28mm which will detect objects in any position across the broad area of light transmission. These sensors can be connected to any Contrinex Fibre optic amplifier to create a very long designing range of up to 150mm. When used in conjunction with a 5KHz amplifier, even the smallest components passing at high speeds can be accurately detected.


Contrinex Series 3030

Contrinex Photoelectric Sensor 3030The Contrinex Series 3030 combines high performance with miniature sizes (30 x 30 x 15 mm housing). Available variants include diffuse sensors, diffuse sensors with background suppression, reflex sensors, through beam sensors, and fibre optic amplifiers for synthetic and glass fibres. Irrespective of their small size, these sensors feature all the usual protection function and are robust to be used for demanding industrial applications.


Contrinex Series 3031

Contrinex Photoelectric Sensor 3031The Contrinex Series 3031 combines high performance with moderate costs. Intended for general purposes uses, especially where small size is required. (Miniature housing 30 x 30 x 15 mm) The robust design of these sensors makes them suitable for industrial use and features all the standard protection functions.


Contrinex Series 3060/3065

Contrinex Photoelectric Sensor 3060/3065The Contrinex Series 3060/3065 fibre optic amplifiers are for DIN-rail mounting, featuring larger sensing ranges, outstanding detection properties for both long and short operating distances, high temperature stability and durability. For the teach-in versions, built in adjustable pulse delay and stretching is a standard. The housing width is only 10mm, which allows for optimum stacking of a large number of switches. Available models includes energetic diffuse sensors, diffuse sensors with background suppression, reflex sensors and through beam sensors. All models are available in DC or combined AC/DC (20 to 265 VAC, 20 to 320 VDC).


Contrinex Series 3130

Contrinex Photoelectric Sensor 3130The Contrinex analogue sensors 3130 comes in sizes of 30 x 30 x 15mm and are characterised by their large sensing range of 10 to 100mm. Excellent temperature stability and outstanding repeat accuracy. The sensing range of the Series 3130 is independent of the colour or surface structure of the objects it is detecting. The analogue sensor technology of Contrinex enables effective use in numerous applications. The Contrinex Series 3130 features a bandwidth of 500 Hz as well as a voltage of (0 to 5 V or 0 to 10 V) and a current output (1 to 5 mA or 4 to 20 mA) in the same device. The Contrinex 3130 is fully potted, equipped with glass windows and complies with a protection level of IP67.


Contrinex Series 4040

Contrinex Photoelectric Sensor 4040The Contrinex Series 4040 provides maximum performance in a 40 x 40 x 19 mm housing. This sensor is ideally suited for demanding applications thanks to operating distances of 2m (diffuse sensor) and 6 m (reflex sensor). With a built in power saving module, these sensing distances are attained using very little energy. Available types include diffuse sensors, reflex sensors, through beam sensors and fibre optic amplifiers for glass fibres.


Contrinex Series 4050

Contrinex Photoelectric Sensor 4050The Contrinex Series 4050 is a photoelectric sensor with considerably improved background suppression in a 40 x 50 x 15 mm housing and excel by long operating distances of up 500mm. (setting ranges from 20 to 500 mm). The operating distance is independent of the target colour, shape or surface structure and is set by mans of a 3-turn potentiometer with position indication. The devices feature a switching frequency of 500 Hz and work with red light, which simplifies alignment of the sensor. Outstanding optical characteristics moreover result in a quasi linear output function with virtually negligible blind zone.

The Contrinex sensors are enclosed in a glass fibre reinforced PBTP housing, complying with insulation class II. Contrinex Sensors are equipped with a glass window and a connector which maybe adjust from 0 to 90 °.


Contrinex Series 6080

Contrinex Photoelectric Sensor 6080The Contrinex Series 6080 Photoelectric Proximity Sensor is ideally suitable for conveyors and applications where extremely robust devices in larges housings are required. The Contrinex 6080 offers extensive functional programs contained in a 65 x 83 x25 mm housing. Available models include energetic diffuse sensors, diffuse sensors with background suppression, reflex sensors, and through-beam sensors. The 6080 photoelectric sensor is available in DC or combined AC/DC (20 to 265 VAC, 20 to 320 VDC) execution with relay output.
